Work is changing. That’s nothing new.

What’s new is just how deeply technology has become embedded in our daily work lives today.

• Artificial intelligence analyzes, formulates, sorts, and prepares decisions.
• Teams collaborate across locations, platforms, and time zones.
• Leadership operates in an environment that has become more dynamic and often harder to grasp.

At the Schöller Research Lab on the Future of Work, we investigate how work can be shaped under these conditions. Our work begins with questions that are currently driving organizations:

How does collaboration change when AI becomes part of it? What roles do the office, the home office, and digital spaces play? What structures must leadership and organizations adopt to ensure that work remains productive, fair, and sustainable in the long term?

Our goal is to bring together scientific insights and practical experience in a way that yields not one-size-fits-all solutions, but rather solutions tailored to each specific situation. Our research follows an overarching three-pronged approach:
