Baton Handover at the Schöller Future of Work LabCopy
This week, the Schöller Future of Work Lab marked an important transition with the official baton handover in the role of Operating Officer.
Dr. Florian Meier successfully completed his PhD in November and will begin a new professional chapter at Netlight in March. Over the past years, he has significantly shaped the lab — not only through his research contributions, but also in his role as Operating Officer, where he helped build structures, coordinate projects, and further develop the lab’s activities.
Tim-Julian Schwehn, who has been involved in several research projects within the lab over the past years, now takes over the role. With his experience and deep familiarity with the lab’s work, he will guide its operational development going forward.
Prof. Dr. Sven Laumer, Head of the Schöller Future of Work Lab, states:
“I would like to sincerely thank Florian for his outstanding commitment and his tremendous contribution to the development of our lab. He has made a lasting impact. At the same time, I am very pleased that Tim, an experienced and well-connected colleague, is taking over the role of Operating Officer. I very much look forward to our continued collaboration.”
The lab will immediately move into its next phase of activities: next week, the “New Work Call,” organized as part of the NIK New Work & People Leadership Group, will frame the agenda for 2026.
